Michael Hersch's World Premiere from Aldeburgh Festival – Available on New Focus Records (22.V.2020)

At the splendid seaside Aldeburgh Festival in 2018, we (Tito Muñoz leading members of Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Kiera Duffy, Ah Young Hong, Raphael Schenkel, Gary Louie, Cody Dean, and me) premiered and laid down these tracks by The Great Michael Hersch. This epic work, “I hope we get a chance to visit soon," totaling 80 mins (60-minute condensed version here), is the most bone-searing testament to life in the face of death’s brutal lacerations.  Out on New Focus Recordings on 22.V.2020, I am so proud and honored to have been a part of this incredible project.
